The groundwater under Bispebjerg Hospital in the capital area of Denmark is used in the process of cooling scanners and ventilating and heating rooms. An environmentally friendly solution that reduces the emission of CO2.
The new ATES plant stores energy in the underground and will cover the entire hospital's cooling needs and more than half of the heat demand.
